Hi, welcome to healthcaremagic. Recovery time after nerve grafting surgery depends on many factors like length of the graft, local vascular supply, type of nerve grafted and many more. Usually in facial palsy, the length of nerve grafted is about 2-5cms. But, the distal segment lost is big. So, about 3-6months is usually the recovery time when about maximum recovery possible will be seen but, usually full recovery will take much longer time. Also, the functions may not recover to normal level. There will be some deficit even after the maximum recovery.
