What Is The Effect Of Endogest?

i m 28 years old n i have history of missed period but last year i had a aborstion after that i have not concieved.my last period was on Nov 28th,2012 than my doctor did follicular study and give the date to have intercourse on dec 19th she gave me endogest 200mg taken vaginaly today i take pregnancy test n it was negative i want to know abt the effect of endogest n when to stop it
