hello I am a type 1 diabetic. I take levemir dosage 2 times daily. One at 10 a.m. 8 units and another dose at 10:00 pm of 3 units. The problem I am having is that at 6:00 a.m. I am having lows of 30. I have not been able to touch base with my endro dr and unsure how to adjust my dosages
Hello, The best is that you take injection levemir once a day only. In general the dose is started as 10 units at bed time. In your case there is no need to take it twice day. You may take it in morning also as single dose. You may even conyptinue with 8 units in morning and skip the evening dies of 3 units. Thanks
