What Is The Cure Of Skin Infection And Increased Waistline ?
Sir, my brother aged about 35 years was having a whole in heart by birth. It healed up with time and he doesnt have any heart related problem now. However, his weight is 104 kg, height 5 10 , his wasteline is 42 inches. He frequently suffers from skin infection on his legs. Someone has suggested that he is suffering from some endcrinologic diseases which causes improper circulation of blood in his legs and weaker veins which caused increased wasteline and poor growth of beard and mustache. Kindly suggest some medical tests to diagnose the problem and a possible solution. We are very poor and cannot afford visiting some specialist in this regard.

Based on the details given by you, your brother is obese. He needs to lose atleast 25 kgs of weight. Coming to the skin infections on his legs. He could well be suffering from Diabetes. As he is obese there is every chance of him being diabetic and moreover obese and diabetic people are prone for a condition called Necrobiosis Lipoidica( Due to Necrosis of Fat).
Please get the following tests done
CBP with ESR
Fasting and Post Lunch Blood Sugar
Lipid Profile
These are the basic tests required. If these test turn out to be normal only then you can investigate further.
Please repost with the reports of the above tests so that i can guide you.

If you think it as a recurrent skin infection it is better to give smear from infected site for isolation of organism. Name of test is "Culture and Sensitivity test" of skin lesion. According to report you should provide the appropriate antibiotic. Estimation of random/ fasting blood sugar also required to exclude Diabetes mallitus.
