Hi, welcome to our site. I am Dr Saumya Mittal.
Read your query. That is a very significant question and i appreciate your problem. I will try my best to answer your query
diabetes commonly affects the nerves in the body causing neuropathies. this results in
tingling, numbness, and pain. multitude of other symptoms may also happen but these are the commonest.
the best way to treat this is by keeping your sugars well under control. of course antiepileptics like
pregabalin and
gabapentin can be used. but they have side effects.
I would suggest you have an nvc test done. besides i am hoping your sugars are well controlled. check a kft and urine for
microalbuminuria too
I hope this helps you. Inform the reports mentioned above so i can be of help further. Best of luck.
