What Is The Cure For Pimple On Neck Which Is Getting Bigger In Size And Painful?

Hi, am Evelyn and wld like to know whether what i have is a boil or not, A small pimple like started a mnt ago at the back of my neck, lst week it started becomin bigger and painful, the doctor gave me some brufens and floxapen capsules and told me to go after 2 days for the boil to be cut, now instead of the boil gettin the sharp point it flattenin and i still feel the pain though not severe like before, is it a boil or not.

Hello and welcome to HCM,

The condition you described sounds like boil only.
The physician prescribed you antibiotic (floxapen) and anti inflammatory (ibuprofen), so your lesion is resolving. However you may experience some pain until it is completely resolved. Please complete due course of antibiotic and continue ibuprofen until it hurts.
