What Is The Correct Dosage To Substitute Xanax?
Hi I have been taking Xanax 1mg x 3 daily but now that the government have severe restrictions my gp changed me to diazepam 2mg x 3 daily but is not sure that this is the correct dosage. Nos i am suffering with anxiety symptoms. Do you know the correct dosage to subsitute xanax.

In benzodiazepine substitution, we follow according to dose equivalent. ).5 mg of xanas is equal to 5mg of diazepam. If you were on 1mg trice a day dose, then diazepam dose should have been 10mg trice a day. Though, diazepam has longer action than xanax. If you are not having any anxiety symptoms, then carrying on with same dose or discuss with your doctor.
