What Is The Cause Of White And Grey Lines Seen While Moving Head?

Hello I am recently seeing white and gray lines when I move my head and look at another object. Or when I am walking and looking at the ground and see it out of the corner of my eye Also, when I layed down on the couch during the day in the light I close my eyes and saw purple an line green triangles and squares. When I opened them I saw the same for a few min and it was like they were floating. What is this? And is it normal? I recently just got a job as a receptionist so I work on the computer a lot... Could this have anything to do with it. It s freaking me out. Ps I am not on any type of drugs!

Ophthalmologist 's  Response
Hello
It seems from the history that you are having symptoms of seeing floating objects.
These are called as floaters.
These are because of opacities in the posterior segment.
These are because of vitreous degenerations and no need to worry. If they are associated with flashes of light you need retinal examination by ophthalmologist otherwise no need to worry.

Thank you
