hello
i have read your query. first of all i want to ask is your baby has given MMR vaccine as it is given at the age of 9 months.measels is caused by virus so antibiotis wont work.usually it subsides by its own within 2 weeks.in the meanwhile you can do the symptomatic treatment. paracetamol can be given for fever.dont stop breastfeeding.Offer your baby plenty of fluids to bring down his fever and prevent dehydration.Make sure your baby gets plenty of rest.
hope this ans helps.take care

Regards
Dr. Shesh
