What Is The Cause Of Pain In One Side Of Jaw?

I woke up one day with pain on one side of my jaw and it only hurt a little after I woke up and went away. Now a couple days later I woke up and on the same side it hurts when I bite down and when I chew and this is an all day pain when I bite down hard what could cause this?

hello thanks for consulting at hcm..it could be infected teeth causing periapical abscess and periodontal abscess..it could also be tmj related pain,, plz get a iopa radiograph and opg,,kindly consult a dentist for a check up and treatment,, meanwhle if pain severe take analgesics..hope it helps,, take care..
