What Is The Cause Of Itching In Hand And Bumps On Index Finger?

I woke up and my left hand itched so as I scratched it I noticed tiny bumps on my index finger and thumb and the Arch in between. Them my elbow itched and I felt bumps there too. Super itchy. And as far as I know I haven't come in contact with anything new.

Hi,
After reading your query it seems that you might developed scabies mite infection. The sites affected are indicating the same. Just check for any other family member affected form scabies or it can also be due to recent travel history.

For the same you can apply permethrin 5 % cream overnight below neck over night. Expose all garments and sheets, clothing to direct sunlight for 3-4 hours for 7 days.

For itching you can take benadryl or cetrizine or loratadine 2 times day.

Hi , I am convinced that the only possible cause is paracite infection with scabies. .This is a very itchy condition which you have labeled as super itchy. This is treated with anti scabies drugs. Ivermectol tablet before dinner. Permethrin cream and soap. Antiallery tablet at night. Can consult doctor for further management.
