What Is The Cause Of Hair Fall?

Hi, I hope you can help. I had my gall bladder removed 18 months ago and since then my hair has become thin, and is falling out. I have had my thyroid tested and that is ok. Could it be a lack of vitamin D ? Thank you

Hello.

Yes, it could be from a low vitamin D level, but it could also be from low thyroid so unless your TSH level were below 2.0, if I were your doctor, I would treat you for hypothyroidism by synthroid so check that out with your doctor and have him check your vitamin D level
