What Is The Cause Of Erratic Behavior And Smell Farts With Autism?

My 5 year old daughter that has been diagnosed with autism has had some very odd behavior of excessive laughing and grinding her teeth. She usually does this when she is in pain or uncomfortable. I have taken her to the doctor twice and they can not find a source of pain. But recently she has taken one bout of diflucan in an attempt to remedy yeAst overgrowth and I have been giving her probiotics. She is already on a gluten free egg free and casein free diet. Recently for the past two days she has been really bloated and has had abnormally Loud and often smelly farts, and her erratic behavior has gotten worse. Please help.

Hi,

I have gone through the medical history of your daughter and feel sorry for the situation she is in!

At this point, I suggest to get a stool examination for ova/parasites and an abdominal ultrasound to determine the cause to being bloated.

Watch her if she eats bad foods or other "unusual" things that might cause such problems to her.

Hope it helped!
