Hi, I went to the clinic and I was told i had strep throat. But it is getting really bad, as i have a bad head ache, fever and my throat/tonsils are very swollen. Also, my lower gums on the left side of my jaw are very swollen, with some white spots. What could all this be?

Hi,
It seems that you have god severe upper respiratory tract infection producing all problems.
You may require one course of higher antibiotic medicine course like Azithromicin for 5 days.
Take NSAID medicine for 3 days.
Avoid fried, junk food and cold drinks.
Do antiseptic gargles.
Ok and take care.
