Hi - I just stumbled on this. My eyes have been dry for a couple of months - especially when I wake in the morning. My optician has looked a couple of times and says they are fine and there's nothing to worry about but it is uncomfortable and I can't wear my contact lenses. We tried anti-biotic drops as a safeguard. But as the problem has still not gone away, my doctor suggested Fucithalmic as a last resort before he refers me to a specialist. Unfortunately, these drops make my eyes burn a lot and I hate putting them in as they make me feel worse. I don't think I have an eye infection. Should I persevere?
You might be having dry eye. Apply refresh tear drop for some time and dis continue contact lens. use contact when you feel better. but don't forget to remove contctlens at bedtime.
