Hi, I am 35 weeks pregnant and had developed an itchhiness on my tummy which later spread to inner thighs then ankles hands inner arms. The dermat said its PUPPP, however in my blood test the Alkaline phosphatase came 300iu/l. The itching is much less now than it was 5 days back but I am concerned. Please advice the normal ALP levels during pregnancy.
Hi, ALP levels are slightly increased in pregnancy but very high liver enzymes can be due to obstetric cholestatsis. Normally anything more than 150 causes symptoms. Take Udiliv 300 twice a day.
