What Is Nickle Sized Lump In Groin After Inserting Paragard IUD?

I have a paragard IUD. I recently started my period and the cramps were pretty severe the first day and I know the paragard can cause that and heavier flow also. Today is the second day and I felt a nickle sized lump in my groin, in between my thigh and labia on the right side. Should I be concerned? What can it be?

Hello madam,
Welcome to healthcaremagic.
I can certainly understand your concern
I have worked through your query in detail.

I can suggest you that it could be swelling of lymph node around the groin area, which could be due to some infection , that may be possibly related to paragard. so its better to consult your physician and get the opinion, hope this information would help you

Post your further queries if any.
Thank you
