What Is Meaning Of Sd Ratio > 3 In Pregnancy Ultrasound Report?

hi...im 24 yrs old married woman.....im 31 weeks pregnant now....i had my ultarsound....and there sd ratio is> 3.......what does it mean??????dr advised me to take L-arginine and proanthocyanidin sachets twice a day.....?????? may i know do my baby is in any trouble.......???????

Thanks for using healthcaremagic.
S/D ratio means a ratio of systolic/diastolic velocity of the blood flow in your artery. S/D ratio above 2.5 is normal so if you have it at 3 it is normal. The sachets are normal supplements which will help growth of the baby. As per the doppler report there is no problem to the baby and you should not worry.
