What Is Diverticulitis?

yes you may, i just underwent a ct with and without contrast. the doctor informed me i have 2 pockets in my intestine, inflamed but not infected and is diverticulitis. Is this serious? She claims no treatment is required except to alter my diet. Is it really as simple as that?
