What Is Causing The Twisting In Upper Mid Abdomen And Vomiting?

My 16 year old daughter has been tested for everything gastro related. She did test positive for hy pylori 2 months ago. We finished antibiotics and she has tested negative now. but she has this twisting in her upper mid-abdomen that never goes away but is sometimes worse. She also vomits clear at times. She missed two weeks of school with this and I would like to be able to help her before she returns to school from summer break.

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history about your daughter having diagnosed and treated for H. pylori, yet has pain in the mid abdomen of the twisting type that never goes away, vomits clear fluid.
The twisting pain you said of is typical of an intestinal obstruction, the cause has to found out by the following:
Clinical evaluation, examination during the attack and Contrast enhanced CT scan and other tests that will give the probable diagnosis and to be treated as per the diagnosis.
I find this answer helpful
