What Is Causing The Pain In Left Groin Area?

hi Im a 44yr old male around 140kg that presented to hospital ED with left groin pain. the pain happens when I walk, sit down or stand up, roll over step up on a gutter or walk over undulating ground. I had 2 ultra sounds and an x-ray the first ultra sound was to look for a femoral hernia/ twisted testicle non was found. the second was looking for a DVT as I have had them in the past. non found. I had an x-ray to look at the bone structure and hips in case of a tumour. non found. is there a possibility I have a tear in the femoral area yet nothing has protruded through?
I have been taking panadine forte but it doesn't take the edge off the pain. when I am sitting its uncomfortable but not painful like when pressure is applied during sitting down or standing up.
I am unsure as is the hospital as to what is causing the pain. can you help?

General Surgeon 's  Response
To summarize: Left groin pain associated with movements
(negative US for femoral hernia/testicular torsion & DVT. No fractures on XR)
If I were seeing you as a patient, I'll like to know the following:
- duration of above symptom
- any fever/chills
- does the pain worsen with urination?
- Are you eating OK? Any n/v, bowel movements, passing gas?
- Have you previously had any abdominal surgeries?

If I were seeing a patient with these symptoms, I'll be concerned for a hernia (could be inguinal or other type), kidney stone (less likely). I'll perform a detail physical exam to evaluate for a hernia. If I were to find it, then surgery will be offered. If my physical exam is negative, I'll recommend a CT scan for further evaluation. If you're having fevers, I'll think of some infectious source which I'm less suspicious for, given the information I have.

Hope this helps.
