Hi, my husband who has previously been diagnosed with Diverticulitis suddenly developed severe pain on his sides between ribcage and hips. The pain on the right side subsequently subsided after taking kidney medication suggested by our local pharmacist. The pain is not in his lower back and since I ve been doing a little research, it has led me to believe it may be a liver condition? Maybe fatty liver? There is no nausea or vomiting and where the pain is seems to be quite inflamed (warm to touch).
