What Is Causing Rash On Skin After Applying Fluorouracil For Skin Cancer?

I have got skin cancer on my face. the Dr prescribed Fluorouracil 5% cream I used it 2 time a a day for 2weeks The place is in my sideburn area but the whole side of my face has gotten red and also it has gotten around my eye and my eyeball is blood shot. I stopped the cream on May first but the redness hasn t improved any

Hello and welcome to HCM.
It seems you have got local irritation to the cream(FLuorouracil) you have used. It called Contact irritant dermatitis.
Nothing to worry as your skin will be fine soon.
I would advise you a week course of oral prednisolone in low dose (5-10mg).
Apply a mild corticosteroid like desonide and antibiotic like fusidic acid twice a day.
After good quality moisturiser like cetaphil DAM twice a day over full face.
Avoid use of any cosmetics/facewash for few days.
Avoid direct sun exposure and use water-based sunscreen before stepping out in sun.
