What Is Causing Fatigue, frequent Urination And Nausia After Deprovera Shot ?

I am on the Deprovera shot and i have been having symptoms since 4-29-14 like fatigue, frequent urination, keen sense of smell, and nausea. Me and my boyfriend have had sex, but im not sure if it s my birth control giving me side affects or what.? Also Is it too early to take a pregnancy test.?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

If you did the shot within 5 first days of the cycle and used condoms as protection for a week the protection is correct. In this case, you don't have a risk of pregnancy.

The side effects you are experiencing may be as a side effect of injection you are having. Give time to your body to get used to it.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
