What Dosage Of Clavam Dry Syrup Is To Be Administered To A Child Suffering From Cold And Vomiting?

Respected sir, My baby( 1 yr 10 month age ) is suffering from cold, cough & fiver when taking food vomiting occurs. sir, i have purchased one antibiotic named Clavam bid dry syrup ( Amoxicillin & potassium clavulanate oral; suspension ip ) but i want to know its dosage how much ml i will give to my baby per day. kindly reply me.

Hi, thank you for posting.

I read your question very carefully.
In children, Clavam (Amoxicillin & potassium clavulanat) bid dry syrup 25mg/kg(body weight) every 8 hours, is recommended.

You should give her Clavam (125+31.2)mg/5ml, 5ml every 8 hours.

However, you should consult a pediatrician.
