Hello,
I can understand your concern for your health.
1) Increased echo-genicity of liver suggest either inflammation in liver or fat deposition in liver.
2) For further evaluation you need liver function test, lipid profile, to find exact cause for this.
3) Either of this two condition do not require any specific treatment. Fat-free diet, carbohydrate rich diet, medication for pain are sufficient. Inflammation will subside by its own over period of time but it is necessary to find out exact cause for this liver inflammation.
4) Fat deposition in liver is due to either increased fat content in diet or abnormal metabolism of fat in liver.
5) Inflammation in liver is due to many reasons i.e. alcohol, viral infection, spread of inflammation from nearby region.

Hope I answered your query. If you have any further doubts, I would be happy to help you.
Have a nice day!
