What Does This Ultrasound Test Result For Pain In Abdomen Indicate During Pregnancy?

In ultrasound scan ( 7 + week as per lmp) , we see gastation sac 24mm but no yolk sac and no fetal pole. Please suggest way forward.Observations :- - no bleeding till date - little back pain n abdomanial pain sometime - beforw pregnancy periods were irregular - subchoroinical measurement 34×12 mm- started sustain since last 2 days 1. What is current view based on above acan result 2 . How long we should wait to get any postive result.. when to do next scan? 3. In worst case, how long 1 should wait, incase miscarraige to happens automatically How long to wait for mc using medicine or dnc

Hi,
I understand your concern.
Your scan shows no yolk sac or fetal pole in USG scan.there was no bleeding. This indicates blighted ovum, when there is no formation of fetus, & empty gestational sac is seen due to chemical pregnancy. This usually terminates automatically in due time,though exact time is unpredictable.
There was no sense in taking sustain, as fetal growth can not be achieved .
* You should not wait for spontaneous abortion, you should go for surgical abortion ,
- Usually patient is prescribed with oral contraceptives for three months. supplements with folic acid given to the couple & then pregnancy is planned for good results.
