What Does This Ultrasound Report Of Kidneys And Urinary Bladder Indicate?
My UTZ report: Both kidneys have homogenous parenchymal echogenicity. The right kidney measures9.1x4.1cm with a cortical thickness of 0.8cm, while the left kidney measures 9.7x4.3cm with a cortical thickness of 1.1cm. Both central echo complexes are in tact. No renal lithiasis seen. The urinary bladder is adequately filled , with smooth walls and no internal echoes seen. The total amount of urine in the bladder is 167cc which was reduced to 3cc on post voiding scan. IMPRESSION: UNREMARKABLE ULTRASOUND STUDY OF THE KIDNEYS AND URINARY BLADDER. What does this mean?
I have gone through your ultrasound report and al the findings correspond to a normal ultrasound report. There is no evidence of any stone or infection. Urinary bladder is also functioning adequately. There is no need to worry at the moment. I would recommend you consult your local physician for a detailed clinical evaluation keeping this report in perspective and further treatment accordingly.
I hope this answers your query. Please feel free to contact HCM again if you have any concerns. Wishing you good health.
