What Does This Ultrasound Report Indicate?

Hello doctor, Could you please help me understand with the following test result of my XR HSG test. I got it done after my period (8th day of the cycle). Impression: 1. Patent tubes with free spillage bilaterally. 2. Small right fundal filling defect that is suspicious for a polyp or thick synechia. Report: Normal uterine contour. Subcentimeter rounded filling defect is seen projecting from the right fundus. On the last image there is possible bridging to the right uterine wall. This was better seen real time fluoroscopically. Tubes within normal limits with free spillage bilaterally. Please help. Many thanks, Haritha

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Indirect way of confirming tubal patency and uterine cavity. There seems to be a polyp in the cavity which can only be confirmed by doing hysteroscopy. It can be removed under hysteroscopy.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. B. Radhakrishnan
