General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
The following conclusions can be drawn based on the ultrasound report you have furnished.
1. There is a single live fetus seen.
2. Fetal heart rate and movements are mentioned as normal.
3. Fetal weight by ultrasound corresponds to 2.67 Kgs, which is normal.
4. Biparietal diameter (BPD) at this stage should be 8.8 cm and is 8.98 cm, which is normal.
5. Femur length (FL) at this stage should be 6.8 cm and is 6.81 cm, which is normal.
6. Head circumference (HC) at this stage should be 31.8 cm and is 31.54 cm, which is normal.
7. Placenta is present in front and towards the upper portion of uterus and is showing maturity of grade 2.
Taking these measurements into consideration, the gestational age corresponds between 35 to 36 weeks, which should be corresponding to the dates as calculated by your last menstrual period (LMP).
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
