What Does This Thyroid Test Result Mean?

So I have a sudden loss of appetite over the past week, I can t seem to fall asleep and I m very lethargic. I m running a mild fever and I recently got tested for mono and anemia but they both came back negative. At this moment I know I have a high white blood cell count, but I won t get the rest of my blood results until Monday.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi & Welcome.
Incomplete data: result of thyroid function tests not found, age, gender, purpose of doing the lab tests not mentioned.
The high white blood cell count is suggestive of some infection. However, since you have symptoms of loss of appetite, inability to fall asleep and lethargy with mild fever the possibility of hypothyroidism can not be ruled out.
Get the results of thyroid function tests and consult a physician for further evaluation and treatment.
