Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern.

Brief answer - Oral Lichen Planus

Detailed answer - As per your query tongue biopsy report indicates you have white patches, lumps at your tongue along with prominent inflammation which is a symptom of disease Lichen planus.

I would suggest you to take few preventive measures such as avoid spicy, hot and sharp food substances. Avoid alcohol and tobacco. Use mashed potatoes on tongue for 10-15 minutes daily. Apply ice pack on affected tissue of mouth. Use petroleum jelly to lubricate that area.

Use antihistamines or topical corticosteroids. Use of retinoic acid ointment is helpful. Maintain oral hygiene properly. Your symptoms will start resolving. If your symptoms keeps on persisting visit dermatologist for PUVA therapy.

Hope your concern has been resolved.
