What Does The Following Biopsy Report Suggest?

Laboratory report: Spc Nature: Biopsy Spc Site: Tongue right side ventral surface History: Pain in tongue radiating towards ear difficulty in swallowing change in articulation for 5 Months, tongue lesion ventral surface right side, has taken chemo-radiotheraphy for some intestinal carcinoma. Diagnosis: Tongue right side ventral surface biopsy: Moderatly differentiated keratinizing squamous cell carcinoma.

Hi,

He is having cancer in the tongue. He is having squamous cell cancer of the tongue. So, unfortunately, his symptoms were due to carcinoma of the tongue.

His treatment has to be done according to the spread of a tumor. PET scan or CT scan can be done to check whether a tumor has spread to any lymph nodes or adjacent bone. He needs to be treated with surgical operation in which portion of tongue removed according to need and chemoradiotherapy is given if appropriate to his case.
