What Does This Pap Smear Test Result Indicate?
Hi doc, I'm just worried. My wife has a papsmear and got "predominance of cocobacili consistent with shift in vaginal flora", what does it means? wthat cause that? and does it affects baby? Im just wondering because she is preggy. By the way my wife is 21 years old.

It is nothing much to worry. Some infection can cause this Kind of change.ur doctor will prescribe u with local vaginal antibiotic to control infections n it will revert to normal.need to be sure ur sugars are normal
