I have pain in my back and my left leg. Somtime i feel pain in my left side in stomach. IN MRI Scan following observation is showing . 1-mild dessicative disc changes at l4 5 level 2- FOCAL DISK BULGE AT L4-5 LEVEL IN THE LEFT PARAMEDIAN LOCATION CAUSING MILD INDENTATION OF THE IPSILATERAL NEURAAL FORAMINA 3- SCHMORL'S NODE AT L4-L5 LEVEL 4- NO AVIDANCE OF MYELORAPIPULAR COMPRESSION
Kindly explain me what is is the meaning of mri scan
1.There is a disc between the vertebral bodies helps as a shock absorber effect, the disc contains maximum percentage of water, due to degenerative changes when the water content / hydration is lost the disc slips / bulges. 2.In your cad the disc involved at the level of L4-5. 3.At L4-5 there is bulge in the disc causing the pressure effect on the nerve which passing through the foramen laterally. 4.With mild compression on the spinal chord. Schmorl's nodes are when the disc bulges in to the vertebral body itself - this condition explained as so. 5.In this condition treatment will be simple back exercise followed by physiotherapy treatment. Good luck.
Hope it helps you. Wish you a good health. Anything to ask ? do not hesitate. Thank you.
