What Does The X-ray Report Of The Lung Indicate?

may X-ray findings says There are equivocal densities in the upper left lung field superimposed on the 1st anterior and medial clavicular shadows and advised to Apicolordotic view suggested for further evaluation of the upper lung field what's the meaning of this?

Hi,
Thanks for choosing healthcaremagic.
It means that there are some opacities in your chest x-ray overlying the 1st rib anteriorly and the medial clavicle.
Another view of X-ray is advised for proper evaluation of that area which are called the apices of lung. There is a special view of X-ray which evaluated that area and we can see better on that view. It is to rule out possibility of infection in that area.
If you are continuing to have symptoms like cough/fever it is better to get another x-ray done or preferably CT chest which will delineate the infective process much better than x-ray.
