What Does The Genetic Disease BE Mean?

sir,i am suffring a genatic desis docter says BE.i am 28yr old.first time in 1997 i feel my power is low. time to time my eye power is lesser. in my family my father and my brother is also suffring from this desis,sir give me sussetion about this desis,i am totally hopeless,please help me.

Thanks for posting your query at HealthCareMagic. I have gone through the details provided by you and they do not seem to be enough. Normally when we refer to any eye condition, we indicate BE for both eye, LE for left eye and RE for right eye. But that is not the name of any condition. It is just to indicate whether one or both eyes are affected. There is no eye condition with the initals of BE as far as I can correlate. Dimness of eyes can occur due to many reasons. The onset of dimnes is also important, something that you have not mentioned. Please ask the details from your doctor or mention the problem in further details. Only then we would be able to help. Sorry for not being able to be more precise
