Is Sarcoidosis A Genetic Disease?
Hi Doctor, I am diagnoised with sarcoidosis a couple of months ago, I want to know weather certain genes may play a role in the desease such as (HLA-DRB1*03) , these genes are age-related and affect the health in a certain time or when a trigger enter the body these genes bacome awake.

I really appreciate your concern and looking to the history given here I would like to say that this is not actually genetic constitution but could be a micro mutation of some gene and compatibility and vulnerability is the main factor behind the "Sarcoidosis" so can say that this is pure form of genetic disease, hope this information helps you, take care and have a nice day.
