What Does The Following Follicular Study Report Suggest?

Hello doctor. Actually I am trying for a baby . Had gone through follicule scanning on 14th day cycle the size on left ovary was 19mm . And the same scanning I had on my 16th day of my cycle the size of the same ovary was reduced to 12mm . Can u guide me why this happened and what do I do now

Hi,I think your follicle has ruptured on day 15. The follicle which was 19mm was the dominant follicle. After the rupture, size of follicle can reduce. You can start taking progesterone tablet from now for 2 weeks. Do a urine pregnancy test after that. Talk to your doctor regarding this. Hope it helps.
