What Does The Following Colonoscopy Report Suggest?
Just returned from Colonoscopy. No polyps but found: The mucosa in the terminal ileum appeared somewhat abnormal. Villi grossly blunted. Each punctuated by brown dot at the end. Significance not clear. Multiple cold biopsies performed. Doctor said not cancer but I have had melanoma. Worried

Melanoma of the colon is rare. The report on histopathology suggests melanoma but it needs to be confirmed on immunohistochemistry.
Management of malignancy is essentially surgical with or without chemo/radiotherapy.
