What Does The Following Colonoscopy Report Suggest?

Yesterday I had a colonoscopy and the doctor said I had a suspicious looking tumor. He took biopsies and then ordered a barium CT. I asked if this was from my breast cancer in 2008. He said he didn't think so. I have an appointment on Tuesday to find out the results but he and his nurse said it would probably require surgery, chemotherapy and radiation. Just wondering to what extent chemotherapy and radiation is compared to breast cancer treatment.

Hello,

Your further management plan decided on the basis of biopsy histopathology report and CT scan report.

If biopsy shows malignancy, then further chemotherapy and radiotherapy might need. Please provide your reports for further opinion if needed.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami
