What Does The Following EKG Report Indicate?

My partner just had an irregular EKG as follows; RR Interval 890 ms PR Interval 140 ms ORS Duration 80 ms QT Interval 350 ms QT Interval 350 ms QTc Interval 350 ms QT Dispersion 76 ms p Axis 58 deg QRS Axis 80 deg t Axis -67 deg The last 4 were significantly different from one he had a year ago. How bad does this look?

Hi,

It is difficult to comment on your ECG report unless seen directly. You mentioned just intervel and axis but we want to know more about morphology of p wave, q wave or duration of waves etc.

Here are the waves interval chart;
RR interval: 0.6-1.2 seconds
P wave: 80 milliseconds
PR interval: 120-200 milliseconds
PR segment: 50-120 milliseconds
QRS complex: 80-100 milliseconds
J-point: N/A
ST segment: 80-120 milliseconds
T wave: 160 milliseconds
ST interval: 320 milliseconds
QT interval: 420 milliseconds or less if the heart rate is 60 beats per minute. Normal QRS axis is -30 to +90.

So your ECG is mostly normal.
