What Does The ECG Result Indicate?

Dear Dr. I am 58 years old, I have problem with short of breathing, while fast wlking, steping up the stairs and running is very difficult, I had maximum remarks from heart ECG remarks " slight left axis deviation" . In Echo cad: the LVef is 81%. Please explain the reamrks, Dr. saying always ECg is normal.

Thanks for your question on HCM.
In my opinion you should not worry much about cardiac disease as cause of your breathlessness.
As your ECG and 2D ECHO are normal.
LVEF (Left Ventricular Ejection Fraction) 81% is really very good and rule out all type of heart disease as cause for your breathlessness.
Slight left axis deviation is normal so no need to worry much.
In my opinion you should consult pulmonologist and get done PFT ( Pulmonary Function Test ) and chest x ray to rule out pulmonary causes for breathlessness.
