What Does Symptoms Like Palpitation And Hurting Pain In The Vein Of The Leg Indicate?
I have lung nodules and copd. I am a 52 year old female. Recently I did a heart screening and the CT showed no calcifications but my ekg showed missed beats. I do get palpitations that last anywhere from a few monutes to many hours, sometimes it feels like my heart is going to jump right out of my chest. I know it is not panic attacks because I have had those before many years ago and this is not the same. I am (was) a smoker but quit over 60 days ago. I still have the above symptoms and my legs also get the feeling of my vein hurting. there is heart disease in my family as well as vascular disease (MOM just had surgery for a 7.9 cm AAA) as well as stents. Since my symptoms come and go, it this all in my head or sould I be concerned.

Hi i read your query.
From what you are saying you just have premature beat. For a proper valuation i also suggest to run the following exams:
- Cardiac Echo
- Holter monitoring
- Stress Test
- Doppler exam of the legs.
If everything is within the normal parameters than you have nothing to worry about.
