What Does Swollen Lymph Node At The Back Of Leg/inner Thigh Indicate?

My lymph nodes in the back of my leg/inner thigh are tender and swollen, I am extremely tired but due to having an infant who keeps me up at night...could it be a viral infection or is it something that I need to get checked out. I am 38 and have suffered adrenal failure 6 years ago, there are many small lymph nodes and many are tender...I also had a tender lymph node under my chin recently and blood/mucus in my stool once 3 weeks ago

Endocrinologist 's  Response
Hi there,

Most commonly, it is due to some infection. But enlarged lymph nodes can be due to a variety of other reasons, as well. I don't think it is linked to any hormonal problem.

You should get a complete clinical examination, followed by relevant investigations, to find out the cause of the enlarged lymph nodes.

Hope it helps........
