A couple of months ago I noticed a strong fish odor coming from my vagina. I went to visit a Gyn and she stated I had a bacterial infection.She did a a smear and it was abnormal, so then a biopsy and they found nothing. She gave me metro to take for 7 days(Tablets), and the smell did not go away then she prescribed me Cleocin and still the smell did not go away. This was back in may so in July i go to the hospital and they do a pap smear again the results were negative and they also said i had a bacterial infection. i was given pills and a shot as well as a prescription of metro gel. The smell still has not went away. I have irritation down there, the skin around my clitoris swells up and it itches a lot. I went to see another doctor this doctor told me I had a yeast infection. I treated the yeast infection and the smell is still there. Its not a smell only I can smell, its a strong smell that everyone can smell. I tried to wear double layer clothing and the smell goes right on threw. I can smell it when I am in the shower and it never goes away.
