Hello, 4 days ago, I felt sudden pain in my rectum (as if it were being inflated like a balloon) and sudden, unpredictable hot needle pokes to my anus. The only thing that relieved it was percocet, which I took one 325 mg tab 24 hours ago. I can t sit down without some pain.
Your differential diagnosis is as follow. -Piles seem most common -Fissure - Proctitis Your workup was done as follow. -Proctoscopy rectal examination -Stool routine micro examination You can be prescribed ibuprofen like an anti-inflammatory drug for five days. Local lignocaine jelly can be applied to get relief. Anal water sitz bath helpful. Consult the surgeon for proctoscopy examination, and get your prescription.
