What Does Sudden Bruises/bumps Around Knee And Lower Part Of Leg Signify?
My sons legs have suddenly become covered in bruises/bumps for no reason mainly around the knees and lower part of the legs. The ones by the knees are swollen and sore to touch. He has not long finished a course of antibiotics for an infection which was first thought to be possible appendicitis. What could have caused this?

The most probable reason for these bruises is allergy to antibiotics or other medication.I would recommend you to consult your family doctor about medications. Is he also complaining of fever and joint pain. For the time being I would recommend him bed rest, avoid very cold temperature. Do not take any medication with out knowing its side effects.
