Hi!
Welcome to HCM!
Your pap smear result is negative for any malignant lesion, findings which are present are not related to cancer .degenerative changes and inflammatory cells generally indicate infection.cellular Changes, occur as a response to injury or inflammation.
You can get a vaginal swab culture senstivity done and a course of antibiotics .mild increase in nucleocytoplasmic ratio may be due to infection or any premalignant condition.therefore a repeat smear will be required after a course of antibiotics.
Take care!
