What Does Slight Left-precordial Re Polarization Disturbance Indicate?
My husband had an ECG today which stated the following: sinus rhythm slow (he takes a beta blocker), slight left-precordial repolarization disturbance, consider ischemia, LV overload or aspecific change, small negative T in V5 V6. His ECG from 6 months ago basically said the same thing. He did have a heart attack in 2000. Now the doctor is suggesting a stress test and a visit with a cardiologist. There did not seem to be urgency with the doctor but we are naturally concerned. How soon should he get in to see the cardiologist? How urgent does this sound?
Hi, I believe you should take a stress test here. ALTHOUGH it does not seem to be an immediate concern but there is a need to perform a stress test and also do a stress echo to see hearts electrical activity and its muscular activity under stress. It will help determine the future course of action to be taken by your cardiologist.so go ahead and get the answers, but dont be afraid.everything will be great..do let me know if you have any more questions for me.
